Making a splash in city centre daycare

A massive thank you to all  those who sponsored or contributed to help us buy new trikes.  The children are so happy that they are able to use them and they absolutely LOVE them... We have visions of the next Lewis Hamilton starting their career in Puddleducks!

We were able to buy the trikes with the money raised from the sponsorship from our recent Runway Run.  The shortfall was very kindly donated by a family who has had a child with us since we opened...their youngest has just left Puddleducks to start big school!

Puddleducks has just received the Annual Inspection Report and we could not be prouder of our staff! It prove that we have a wonderful team there. We have always had a great inspection reports but the inspectors' comments have really touched us this time!

Sharon, Manager of Puddleducks says, "August has historically been a busy month for enquiries and showing perspective parents around our FABULOUS Puddleducks...but my goodness, we have hit the ground running this morning! The phone has not stopped and the diary is already completely full this week for viewings. Availability is very limited, ESPECIALLY in our 0-2yrs age group. If you know of someone who is pregnant or has recently had a baby, please get them to contact us ASAP to ensure they don’t miss out on booking a place."

Some of our preschool children have been “Working like their mummies” in our cygnets room this week!  We have some very headstrong young ladies in our midst…We felt sorry for whoever was on the other end of the phone at one stage…its seems that our cygnets have tight deadlines and someone on the phone wasn’t playing ball!

Our 'Ducklings' randomly started chatting about wizards and making potions…we grasped the opportunity to extend their learning and their interest in this and had a session where they could all experiment with mixing colours, textures and smells to create their own magic potion.  Some of the conversations where fabulous and it was great to see how their little imaginations can run wild!  Some potential chemists in the making maybe??
